Hughes Station was born out of the dreams of the Almost Home Board of Directors. They knew for a large number of families the majority of their income went for shelter, leaving little else to meet the family’s needs. Hughes Station, named after the original train switching station, was the result of those dreams. A place where families can live, safely, and pay only a portion of their incomes for housing and where there are programs available to help the family grown and to help them achieve their dreams.
